The Illustrated Field Guide to Vintage Trailers has a digital companion: the Vintage Trailer ID App
The “Vintage Trailer ID App 1.0” is a digital companion to "The Illustrated Field Guide to Vintage Trailers," which builds on the field guide's information and illustrations. The app allows you to filter, compare, and identify vintage trailers by manufacturer, brand, year, body style, skin material, exterior finish, and length. The “Vintage Trailer ID App” does not have the manufacturer histories, spotting notes, and extra information that is the field guide. It will never make a good fire starter, either.
The app is available at www.vintagetrailerfieldguide.com now and is accessible to cell phones and desktops alike. So, you can use the “Vintage Trailer ID App” at home and on the road. But we need your help. We know that there's a whole rally of trailers waiting in line to be in the “Vintage Trailer ID App.”
So, please send us input and suggestions for vintage trailers to include in the “Vintage Trailer ID App” at ID@vintagetrailerfieldguide.com. We need all the ads, photos, brochures, and technical information that you can provide because we want the “Vintage Trailer ID App” to become even more valuable over time.
Of course, all of this doesn't happen for free. We've already put two years of effort into creating the “Vintage Trailer ID App 1.0.” We designed, organized, tagged, and hired a programmer to make it all come together for the summer of 2021.
Your support allows us to continue to develop features that will make the “Vintage Trailer ID App” an even more powerful resource for vintage trailer enthusiasts worldwide.
Thank you,
Bob and Carl
TIP: If your vintage trailer didn't make an appearance in the field guide, here's a great way to get it into the Vintage Trailer ID App fast and improve the app at the same time! When you buy a custom vintage trailer mug (There's an additional 20.00 artwork fee), Bob will draw an illustration of the vintage trailer of your choice pronto, mail you the mug, and add it to the Vintage Trailer ID App. You can reach him at info@vintagetrailerfieldguide.com.
