About the Authors
Bob Thompson studied drawing at the Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design and earned a bachelor’s degree in design at the University of Oregon. He started drawing vintage trailers on notepads during client meetings at the ad agency where he worked as an art director. When his advertising days came to an end, he decided to build custom furniture full-time under the moniker of Bobland, with a focus on midcentury style.
Carl Jameson holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Washington State University. His career began in print production and moved into advertising, where he wrote, directed, and produced hundreds of videos as Craftmaster Productions. In addition to this book, Bob and Carl have collaborated on the restoration of a 1958 Cardinal and a 1967 Aladdin, with a 1963 Fireball and a mid-1960s Red Dale waiting in the wings.
