We recently received a message from Casey Kielbasa at our oops@vintagetrailerfieldguide email. We created this account as a place for our readers to inform us of any factual errors or oversights in the Field Guide that we should correct in future printings and editions. We've received a handful of these since the launch of the book and expected the typical correction of a year or suggestion for a manufacturer we hadn't included. The Field Guide to Vintage Trailers' corporate headquarters, aka "The Canned Ham," served as both a recording studio and backdrop for video interviews at the annual music fest. The vintage style of our Cardinal fit right into the scene that featured multiple stages tucked into various wooded settings, along with campsites for the many attendees that stay the duration of the multi-day event. We are very excited to announce that not only is The Illustrated Field Guide to Vintage Trailers on schedule to launch in conjunction with Modernism Week 2019, our 1958 Cardinal has also been accepted to be part of the Vintage Trailer Show. So we'll be hitching up the canned ham and trekking to Palm Springs with a pile of books to sell and autograph in person during the show.
